    Question on early bolts

Attachment 30941Attachment 30940When did SA discontinue polishing the bolt face and rear area of the bolt locking lugs ?

Received a data sheet from Joe W. on s/n 511125 that has a polished bolt face and rear locking lug area. Most data sheets will not indicate if this was done.

Photo show examples of two new revision 2 bolts J9A and RE2 with the polished areas
