    S&K 1917 mount questions

I was looking into a non- drill and tap scope mount for a 1917 and stumbled across the S&K and some question clouds formed.

    1. are there more than one style of S&K? I have what appears to be a long and skinny model and a short thick model.

    2. do they come with the S&K style and weaver rings options?

    3. how do they mount on the rifle?

    Thanks

The S&K have the short rail. I have a B-SQUARE mount and it extends over the front part of the receiver and has a set screw to put some tension on the front area.
It worked fine although I had to do some file work in order for the rail to sit flush in the rear sight spring mortice. I placed a plastic shim under the front set screw to
    prevent maring the receiver.
