My latest '03 restoration project completed

This was a Rock Island #418xxx I bought with its probably original SA 8-29 barrel. It came in a WW2 stock with the pins (instead of the stock bolts) and had an 'O3A3 bolt. The finish was almost all worn off so I sent it to Chuckindenver for a repark and to put it in a CMPicon stock. When Chuck took it apart he discovered that the barrel was basically toast, slightly bent and it swallowed the TE guage. So I located an almost new SA 9-44 barrel on Gunbroker and had Chuck install it as well as a Bonney Forge '03 bolt. Here is the finished product:

Great result! Well worth the effort and expense for a very worthy project. This rifle is good to go for another century of use.

    Sweet, I like it.
    Very nice result.
Might I add that a space between each pic makes the world of difference.
