A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. It is the side of a jeep. Door opening to the right. The two holes next to the "Y" in Army are to mount the top bow storage bracket, the three holes to the right of that for the door strap bracket, side curtain snaps and crash pad. The wheel well opening has a stick partially obscuring it. The twisted metal behind is unrelated.

I just love Foghorn Leghorn. One of my favorites was when telling the little genius chicken "Son, listen to me when I'm talkin' to ya. I know what your problem is! Your built too low to the ground, all the fast ones go right over your head"!

Foghorn's characteristic catch-phrases were drawn from the character of Senator Beauregard Claghorn of Charleston, South Carolina, a blustering Southern politician played by Kenny Delmar, was a radio character on the "Allen's Alley" segment of The Fred Allen Show beginning in 1945. One such phrase was "Somebody, ah say, somebody knocked! Claghorn's the name, Senator Claghorn, that is. I'm from the South. Suh."

From one little image you figured out all that about the jeep door. I am impressed!! Wonder where the rest of the Jeep is.
