    some cartridge headstamps

I am not really a 30-06 cartridge collector, but over the years, have saved a few that I thought were interesting. The 30-06 with the headstamp F A 8 05 was reformed from a 30-03 case. The case had been cleaned but it is the only example I have to date. The U.M.C. 2-06 and U.M.C. 11-05 are both original 30-03 cartridges

I'm also not a cartridge collector, but it is fun to get one of those baggies of old cartridges at a gun show for $5-10 and take it home. Good for an evening entertainment going through them. I've also found some interesting ones from the early 1900s, as well.
