I am curious to see how many members can identify this Butt-Plate. The particular carbine that this plate is for, is very hard to find, and often mis-identified. The proper Butt-Plate for the Carbine that this goes on is mis-identified in both Gunbroker and E-Bay on a regular basis. The Narratives given are missing dot at 5 o’clock position, and that is not correct. Butt-Plate with missing dot at 5o’clock position is a Springfield Armory 1952 replacement. When you need a particular part pretty badly, you study! I have studied this particular Butt-Plate for a while. Some people may differ, but I base my conclusion on War Baby and Chestnut Ridge Chart, which is supposed to be the Bible of Butt-Plates. What Butt Plate is this?
