We started a thread in the Commercial Auctions & Gossip Forum (click here), on a few of the more expensive items that were sold at the recent Rock Island Auction Company which took place September 6, 7, & 8, 2008.

The L42A1 went for $9,775.00 U.S. and the Canadian No. 4 Mk1 T "Long Branch" went for $6,900.00 U.S. The one that blew me away was the Swedish Model 1896 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Bayonet that sold for $6,325.00 U.S. All the prices included the 15% Buyers Premium.
