    No. 1 Mk III safeties

    Shopping for a complete safety assemble for a No. 1 Mk III.

    Have found safeties listed as Mk I and Mk II.
    What is the difference? One better then the other?

    The Mk.II is a war time expedient item which was not threaded for the safety catch. You probably don't want that one.
