Enfield target rifles listed on Trademe in NZ
Whist this may not be the "correct" forum for WTS, I noted a couple of nice looking target rifles listed on trademe.co.NZ
The unusual sprung barrel bedding on the first rifle makes it worthy of listing here. It is an early BSA No1 mkIII regulated by Fultons and Parker Hale Lee Enfield Fulton and Parker Hale target ex RNZN | Trade Me
The second is a 1914 P14 by Winchester. Enfield 1914 target rifle | Trade Me
Something makes me think that RJW may have some inside knowledge of these rifles.
Cheers
Paul
(apologies in advance if you are bidding on these items.)

If only we could combine Australia
and New Zealand into one country.
The Kiwis could benefit from our economy....and we could benefit from Kiwi gun laws.
And we could both gang up on the Brits at the Olympics.

I'm sooo tempted, I'd love to try Perth. That must be one of the most far away places on earth .... nice,

Don't worry about Perth......it's not isolated enough.
Now if you just head south from Perth for about another 160km you get into Gods own country. Margaret River Wines, Harvey Beef and the Busselton Rifle Club based on the Coolilup 900m rifle range.

There is even the one or two Kiwi's over here so you will not get too lonely.

It's just that bit he wants to leave behind.
Someone should tell him that 2/3rds of Kiwiland are over here now.

NZ
has better firearm laws.
I might have to spend more time down there just to have a play with more toys

Hi,
I was looking at the pic's of that rifle, and especially the pic of the springs soldered to the barrel. It looks like the front spring bares on the brass band that's added, but what do the rear ones bear on. Looks like thats the top front handgaurd & slot for the middle band sitting closest to the Camera. I've never seen one with a slice of metal sitting in front of the middle band and note the holes go all the way thru. Confused please help.
Regards Ian
