Surely only for aiming practice, or display?
And it wouldn't fit in the car boot anyway. So thanks for the offer, I'll leave it.![]()

Okeydoke i have a ute that the stand , S & L with the Bayonet with the Mk7 handle will fit in nicely as P C has passed.
We used them for aiming practice. You could have the student set his rifle on the target and you could have him step away to prove he was right or wrong. Point of aim, aiming off, aiming up and down...

Yes That´s what we used them for. But might well be very useful on the range.
Here's an old thread with lots of pics of my Canadianversion ....
SMLE Craddle Arm, WWI on GB
Everyone might want to try our Google CSE custom search engine located in the top right corner below the words "Advanced Search". It only searches our site using Google techniques and can be quite efficient. For example, in your case, type in the words alming rest and see what happens. Perhaps try other phrases as well.
I checked and there are several old posts…

Doug
I think Bindi is the only one who has looked at whats IN the aiming rest![]()
