I have just been lucky enough to get a 1917 MIII Ross Rifle. A friend found it leaning against a tree 3 years ago. Last week he passed it along to me to clean up. I discovered the serial number 463 /1917/ HD. and the made in quebec circle. on the stock. Hopefully someone can help me understand the rest of the symbols stamped into the barrel.
