    Almost called the "Haunted Collector"

I usually work at night with the lights off except for the computer screen in my "War Room".
Never had any unusual noise problems until i brought in a captured Type 99 with a well used bayo.

To digress, the "Haunted Collector" is a TV program where a group of people come into your house and look for spirits and usually find the cause as one item like a doll, ice pick, knife, etc.
They take the item away and the spirits go away!

Now, what could not be more haunted then a well used type 99 with maybe blood rusted bayo?

My problems now are, papers moving on their own, boxes of shells falling off the shelf, guns on rack moving slightly, strange noises on the wood floor, and scratching. Never had those before.

Turned the lights on. Nothing. Used a flashlight. Nothing. Went on for two nights. Brought my Springer Spaniel in and she alerted to a corner but still nothing.

Now, what ever it was was touching my pant leg and that was enough! I shone the flashlight on my leg and there was a set of green eyes! Turned out it was my daughter's just rescued kitten that only weighed two pounds and could fit into the smallest places!

Still keeping an eye on the type 99 and now closing the door!

That's a funny story Medic. I also had some worries about all the battle used rifles I have and had. Never had any cases of spirits attached to them, thankfully. I sort of believe in these things too because of one incident on the day my dog died. I was watching a homemade video where I was calling my dog and the little shutter door that he used to come in from rattled just like he always made it rattle. Nothing else could have rattled that door. If you can imagine a 100 pound doberman squeezing through a 20"x 18" opening.

This stuff happened to me all the time back in the early 90's.. I had to stop licking frogs while the Doors where playing over my 4' tall speakers. I can't even use a black light on a fish tank still to this day.!!!!

I'll tell you I've had weird vibes with some militaria in the past. I believe in that stuff as it is in my heritage. I do not collect Germanicon ( Nazi ) or heaven forbid Japaneseicon stuff for that reason. I have had a whole set of relatives killed by the Japanese in Dutch East Indies (Indonesia). Back in the early 70s when my friends and I were collecting WWII stuff I had this one incident. We had traded some stuff I forget what but he was into this Third Reich stuff. Because he was I had an opportunity to fire his G-43 and Luger (which I learned to dislike) which was educational to me. Well anyways he traded me this Red Arm Band with the Swastika on it. I would lay at night in my room and think about it in my drawer. I would just get creeped out thinking about it all the time. Every time I walked in my room I would automatically look at where it was kept. There was no peace till I got rid of it which was a week later. It had this demonic vibe. That is why I think people who collect SS stuff are nuts to do so. My Brother-in Law who lives in Holland offered me an SS Death Heads ring. he had received from a customer. It was 100% authentic and worth some BIG bucks but I declined. Too creepy ! The last time I got the willys was from believe it or not was an M-7 Grenade Launcher. Why I don't know but it also gave me the creeps so it went to a fellow re-enactor. I believe some items do hold some "memories" like houses and places do.

    Weija Board things

Did a weija board once with some friends as sort of a joke, some of the stuff that went on was enough to make your hair stand on end and we never attempted that again.
In WWII gunners and pilots reported being followed by round objects that were not the sun they were called "Foo Fighters" (not the band???)
I may add if your thoughts are that we are the only intelligent life form in the entirety of the space continuum then I suggest you rethink the possibilities........who knows they may collect Lee Enfields as well?
