    SDS on Salter's site

For those of you who follow these things, Joe Salter has just posted a nice looking 1907 SDS on his site. At $3295 it certainly isn't cheap, but it looks all correct to my eye.

I thought a link might be nice so the others don't have to go searching for an "SDS"... http://www.joesalter.com/detail.php?f_qryitem=22800

I have one which has had a wooden butt extension put on it at some point. If I lived "South of the razor wire" as Barry J puts it, I might spring for this one. It's top dollar or perhaps a bit more, but looks very nice, and it's not like they're making more of them. It would be an expensive pain in the *** to import it in though and one would have to pay tax on it at the border which would make it even more.......... looks lovely.

You'd only be out about $300-400 to get her to B.C. and the biggest hassle is the wait for the U.S. paperwork to clear. No tax - made in Canadaicon after all. I've brought two Ross rifles - a Mk II and a Mk III north from the U.S. I can point you to the guy here in Alberta who has helped me out.

A very nice rifle, but beyond my budget.
