M1895 Nagant Revovler bug bit me too
A Gander Mountain opened up the other day and like a fool I went in. Needles to say I did not leave empty handed
Arsenal rebuild with all matching numbers. I think some of the cosmolene I found was from the end of WW2. Nice weight to it. Think I'll fire it a few times then put it in the Mosin-Nagant rifle display case after I build it.

They sure are interesting. The trigger pull could be lighter but that's expected for Soviet
weapons

Better get one while you can. Prices are starting to go up on them like everything else. I have two, one from each arsenal. Got them at Cabelas for points which means they didn't cost me anything. Ammo is no longer hard to get and is reasonable. In fact in today's ammo shortage world, it is still one of the few easily available.
They are extremely fun to shoot and I've found them to be very accurate. Trigger pull is not the best but I don't think it's as bad as most claim. I still manage to hit the six inch plates double action.
Cabelas doesn't like you digging through all their guns. They were only willing to bring out five at a time for me to look at. I was able to find excellent examples both times but it did take all five in both cases. Bores range from mint to dark in those five although rifling is strong in all.
