I'm guessing the shirt is one he's 'borrowed' from a former member of the Imperial Japanese
Army since it looks a bit tight across the shoulders on him.

I think it's a T99 with the bolt open and the dust cover still attached.

I don't see a handle for a bolt action. Or the big round button on the rear of a bolt. Was there semi arisaka's? It looks like something I might have seen before but not sure. That latch on the left side reminds me of something. But can't place it.

The rear sight appears to be the AA sight. The latch is the mauser style bolt release. Can't really tell if the bolt is covered by his hand or not but its definitely not in battery. If that's not the dust cover I have no idea what else it may be?
