I have found a Kragthat must be a Bannerman or school gun. It is full stocked but appears shorter then my rifle. The owner is knows guns but does not know the origin of this gun. He feels it is Bannerman or one of the many other surplus dealers. Looks like it would be a good shooter but I have not had the opportunity to do a first class inspection.
Condition looks good, but appears to be refinished. My question is what value can one put on such a rifle. Assume very good condition but refinished (of course the refinish may be from the original conversion.build). I feel that it is an example of a historical arm even it its changed condition, but value escapes me. Thanks in advance for advice. John McPInformation
