    Question Enforcer serial number 298

    Hello,
    I have been looking to trace history of my Enforcer serial number 298 and came upon this site, hope someone out there has info, if not would like to add details to list to help compile record of know surviving rifles - note I have 4 shooting colleagues with Enforcers.

    No 298 was sold to Durham Police on 3rd Jan 1975

    If you post the numbers of your friends Enforcers I'll let you know where they were issued to.
    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
