What do you mean by that? Sorry if that's a noob question but this is my first M1903A3 and I've never had to tap any other stock I've had.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. The owner of Northridge comes from Belgiumicon or France, I know him from several gun shows in Europe. Have one of their C-Stocks aswell, they have absolutely astonishing grain and are of high quality. They are all NOS.

the holes for the buttplate and lower swivel arent tapped for screws...if you force a screw into the hole...you may,,crack the stock, stick a screw in the hole, or destroy a screw...
as well as you will need to drill the hole for the bayonet lug at the nose...
stock may also be missing the rear guard bushing...dont shoot the rifle without that itemsinstalled. you will destroy the stock.
new unissued stocks came this way from Milton Bradly

Got'cha. Wouldn't happen to know the size taps I would need off the top of your head, would you? Also, the stock came with the cross bolts and rear guard bushing installed. They're just really rusty and hard to see.
