M1 garand value
Hi all, new here. I've come into possession of a pretty nifty M1
garand and was trying to get some idea of its value. Not sure I want to sell or not but want to make sure that if I do i know what I'm selling. trying to attach pictures below. There is no markings, on the stock itself that I can find. I have shot it and it shoots well (imho).

Have fun!
The thinner parkerizing does make me think this is in fact a Danish
Navy M1
. This was a feature amongst Danish M1's overall...theories are tossed around as to why the finish was so thin or near non-existent.
Does the barrel say VAR on it? If so, these were sometimes "like new." Might be part of why the M1 shoots so well.

Looks like it might be the original barrel. Hard to see the pics though.
