I had a table set up at a local gun show this past saturday and was sitting next to a guy that had a Union Switch and Signal 1911. I knew this gun had been for sale but never got to look it over really well like I did this weekend. I will start with the good then ask opinions on the bad. The guns finish is 100% original and is rated at 97%. The barrel was correct and looked good. The barrel bushing and main spring housing were both correct. The slide stop and safety were both correct as well. Now for some questions. The mag was not original. The mag release was really sticky almost to where it wouldn't pop back out. The grips were the correct ones that the screw heads stick out on. But I felt that a screw head stuck out a little to far on one of them. I think it was the right upper. On the right side near the rear it looks like one of the pins had been punched out or at least someone tried to punch it out. It looked like it had about 5 or 6 tiny indentions near the pin. The safety semed a little hard to operate. The gun still had some cosmolineicon in certain areas. My questions are how much would a gun that I described be worth and woud that pin hurt the value of the gun? If so by how much. Thanks for any repalys.
