Need help identifying three tools

One is marked U.S., and appears to be a spring compressor of some sort. Another is a screw drive which I though went with a foreign firearm. The third is a tool to hold a small part as it is assembled into a firearm.

I should know what these are for, but as I purchased them years ago, put them in a box and never used them, I have forgotten any information about them. I've spent a couple of hours on the Internet search for them with no results. The one marked U.S. has been identifies as an M1 Carbine hammer spring tool, but when I search for information on the Internet I do not find it.
