Would anyone here consider me strange if I admitted I've got a thing for the milled trigger guards?

I hope not. I just like 'em, that's all.

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I too really like the Milled guards better. The stamped ones look nek-ked to me.

Besides, a tight fitting guard can be opened by putting a screwdriver, or similar, into the hole and opening it with ease.

They are usually easy to find.

check the lugs on this trigger guard, maybe modified during rebuild ?
