Beautiful polish and blue on those era guns. I'm wondering if that gun went through WW1 on a man's hip. Not much wear and tear to finish to suggest that. Hard to know though.

Here is one close in serial C3042 shipped to Ohio on the 10 of April 1913. Mine appears original with keyhole magazine as well. My only question is about early commercial magazines. Some said they have a high polish bottom? I have never seen such a mag, please post if someone has one.

Nice! Looks exactly like mine. I believe C3017 was posted on another forum at one point, just two off from mine. -Steve

Thanks guys for showing those beautiful examples of the most beautiful 1911 ever made. It is amazing that they have survived in that condition.
