Ross Mk. I bayonet sold
I've been watching a very fine Mk. I bayonet and scabbard on eBay. This is the bayonet for Mk. II (1905) rifles. As far as overall condition goes, it is about as nice as you are likely to see. It sold for US$442!

ouch... by the way, links to auctions are OK in this forum as long as they are not to an item you are trying to sell.

Yup, what steve said
As for the price... maybe it has provenance. Perhaps it was Sgt. Snoxall's prized Ross bayo he used as a trench fighting knife after ligerating it from a jammed and discarded Ross...
