    2,4 million Springfield M1 Rifle

    This Springfield serial number is into the block of numbers assigned to Winchester. The overlap was somewhat common during wartime production. The stock has a nice figure for a SA GAW stock, the sling is marked BT&BCO (Belber Trunk & Bag of Philadelphia).

    Barrel is 3-S-A-2-44 with a nice bore (TE 3,5), bolt is rev 12 S-06<>, rear sight is late with Type 2 lockbar, follower rod is short fork and op rod is rev 9 uncut. trigger housing rev 12 and hammer rev 5 safety rev 11Attachment 59538Attachment 59539Attachment 59540Attachment 59541
