    1946 No. 32 REL

Earlier this month at the Tulsa show I saw a minty Britishicon 4T with a Canadianicon scope and mount. The mount had the original Long Branch serial number 90L8012 and the scope was numbered 91-C. Most interesting was that the scope was dated 1946. Not overstamped or the last digit 6, being added later. First one I've seen dated 1946.

First one I have heard of too. Up to now all of the REL Mk3's I've come across have either been 45's or undated.

I thought the rifle was questionable. And the $6K price tag they had on it was about twice what it was worth. Did you see the kluged up Savage. I couldn't tell if the guy actually believed he had a real T or was just trying to hustle me. Got real defensive when I pointed out all the discrepancies.
