[Mark in Rochester]

While digging in on front line positions just outside of Bra, soldiers of Co H, 3rd Bn, 504th Para Inf Regt, 82nd A/B Div., met a patrol of Nazi SS troopers who were on reconnaissance. In the resulting clash several of the Germans were killed but one SS trooper was captured and brought back into American lines. 25 December 1944
