1969
I am looking to add a firearm to the collection that best represents the year 1969.
Now that being said, specifically I am looking for a firearm made in that same year.
What best represents the innovation of the time period?
Thank you.

For some of us, that would be an M16
, an L1A1, an M79 grenade launcher, an F1 SMG, an M60 GPMG, an SKS, an AK47 ... well, you get the idea.

Where's the rest? Is that an ongoing? Do you need stuff? The F1 would be good but you'd have to settle for a dewat and I'm still not sure where in Canada
we'd find one of those. They're pretty scarce.

I have the triangle handguards, however the upper receiver has the Burton bump with A1 sights (C7 style upper) - so I am looking for an alternate upper receiver.
As for the lower, well, that is another story, to try to find the best SA representation of the M16A1

I guess I better start looking for the F1 and an original piece of Moon rock while I'm at it

anywayzzz, I don't remember seeing any available here. Collector Source maybe would know.
If you put a WTB on here, you might be surprised what comes to you.
