    Enfield No2 Mk1

I have owned this revolver for some time now, however just getting reacquainted with it. Would appreciate knowing to what the letters and numbers (ESC.321) on the cylinder refer.

Any additional information about the year of manufacture etc. will be appreciated. As soon as I am able to locate a source for the front sight screw, I will purchase dies, brass and bullets for this little guy.

    Thanks for your expertise!

The D inside E * and the O prefix serial number indicate Royal Small Arms Factory, Enfield, London 1941-1942 (according to Stamps and Skennertonicon's book).
The walnut stock with thumb groove and without the brass disc is from 1942

ESC = English Steel Co and the steel batch number of the cylinder. No2 Mk1*. Just a good old clunker. Lots written about them on this very forum. As soon as someone reminds me of the BA size number I'll turn you up the screw you need
