Just thought I would post a successful shadow box project I completed for a neighbor who has been looking to display the few items of her fathers military service in. While the shadow box was a conversion of a second hand 11x14 inch oak picture frame, available for a few dollars at a thrift store, getting materials together and figuring out certain details did take time, since not much info was available on the internet on what I was looking for. I did find there was a plethora of places selling already made shadow boxes for way more than this project entailed/or would have retailed for. But the result was worth the effort for a very pleased neighbor.
