i was checking out an antiques shop, just in case, and saw an interesting magazine pouch. it was rather expensive (IMHO) and in poor condition so it's still there, but i can't find pictures or information on what it might be on the internet.
it looked like a pattern 1937 pouch with 6 separate slots for SMG magazines.
it looked to be made from the standard pattern 37 materiel, the flaps were fastened with pat 37 style snaps and it had cloth loops and and a pat 37 looking buckle in the top centre. it looked as though it was set up to be worn in place of a mk2 pouch or similar.
i'm in Australiaso owen or austen was my first guess, i did search for thompson too, no joy yet.
the closest i can find is this early vietnam era owen pouch, similar but not the same.
any ideas what it actually is?Information
