No4 Mk2 Forestock Issue
Recently aquired a pretty nice Faz No4 Mk2 dom 5/50. Pre-inspection indicated light to little muzzle pressure but everything else looked good so now its mine:}. Dis-assembly inspection indicates that the draws, body, and knox fit in the forend is really good wrt to spec however there's minimal muzzle pressure. Sighting down the forend it appears that the muzzle end is warped down a bit and runs away from the barrel such that there's little contact at the muzzle bearing bed. I seem to recall that Peter L commented on this briefly and discussed a means of installing a new muzzle bearing in the forend. Can anyone point me to this post please?

The trouble with a build-up patch at the muzzle of the fore-end when the fore-end is warped downwards is that after doing that, the top handguard might now contact the barrel. That's what we used to call 'muzzle-bound'. But see how you go.........

Thanks Peter. I'll work up and fit a new bearing while checking for handguard clearance.
