    No4 mk1 and mk2 service issue

    Morning all,

I was thinking the other day (dangerous pastime I know) what was the issue status of the No4mk1 when the hung trigger Mk2 was introduced in the Britishicon Army, was it relegated to TA/second line duty's, or did it remain in front line service alongside the Mk2 until the advent of the L1A1 era?

    Just curious...

Does any-one have any figures on how many of the MK1s and MK1*s were brought up to MK2 spec, please? Was it a significant percentage of the total in U.K. stores???
