    M1 carbine barrel

I have a Winchester barrel stamped W, normal size, 4 1/2" down and another small w just under that, 4 7/8" down. The P/W proof firing mark is 7" down. Why is there 2 Ws and what S/N range would this barrel go on?

You just have the Barrel or what S/N range is your Winchester Carbine in and it will help a lot if your showed pictures of the markimgs for these experts to see exactly what your talking about
