    Barrel markings

    Hi,
    Asking all the Mauser experts...... what do barrel markings fcx CN/H mean?
    Saw them on a gun for sale. Did not find any info in my Mauser book

    The marks are on the barrel of a 1944 BCD german mauser.

    I take it that the marks are defiantly on the barrel and not on the receiver near the barrel?
