    Repaired- Repro M1 Paratrooper stock split in two.

    Received this from member mmppres, it was in his latest haul of goodies. Although it's not an original it isn't firewood anymore.

    Can say with 100% honesty Jeffs work looks way better in person. If you need some thing repaired an do not have the time throw the brother some work..

    looked 1000% better in person had to really look for the break. Great work as always .I got to find some thing really messed up for him to try an fix next

    Very well done indeed - mind me asking, how did you line up the holes for the pins so perfectly? Or did you oversize the holes to allow for error?

    On this one I used lines drawn on the side of the two halves together with a straight edge as a guide and eye balled the center when I drilled it. Yes, you need a little slop to allow any extra glue/epoxy to escape the hole and it helps if you were a little off drilling, sure.
    In other instances I may use pilot holes and a clipped finish nail as a ersatz dowel center before drilling up to final size.
