I recently purchased a repro No32 Mk2 and had to return it after noticing the post had slop while adjusting the range drum. Even tapping on the drum would cause the post to move. The vendor replaced the scope but I found that the replacement has the same defect. In trying to keep a more representative scope on my rifle, is there a practical solution for removing the backlash or are there recommendations for someone who does the repair?
Thnx,
