And Finally ... My NZ SMLE with NZ issue bayonet..

    Morning all,

After a long delay and thanks for your patience to those interested in seeing the pics, I finally managed to get some "me" time and spend a day at the range yesterday.

For the first time in 98 years, my 1917 dated NZ issue Enfield SMLE was reunited with an NZ issue Wilkinson P1907 bayonet. (Wilkinson 1916 dated)

Again, many thanks to Kevin for locating and procuring it for me, I have searched high and low here for ages but they never turn up in the UKicon..

Also a pic with my ex NZ Lithgowicon L1A1, just for fun..

The spirit of the ANZACS was strong at the Severnside range yesterday!

    Cheers, John.

Nice looking SMLE...very nice. The FN's ok too...only because it's like new.
    Regards, Jim

Cheers Jim, I could shoot the SMLE all day long, it's my favourite rifle ,full of history and charisma, like driving a classic sports car.
