Finn Captured 39 Tula PEM sniper

Been wanting one of these for a long time so when the opportunity presented itself I just had to have it. It's a Finn Captured 1939 Tula PEM Sniper with a non matching scope and mount. All parts are Tula and all numbers match except the bolt, which is scrubbed. The scope is a 1938 PEM scope, and the mount is of Tula manufacture. Being as the Finnishicon Army only showed 213 captured snipers in it's inventory in June of 1940, and most of them being PE Top Mounts, I feel I am very fortunate to have acquired this elusive Finn Captured PEM side mount sniper.

It looks to be in good honest condition and a lucky find. Can you see a "41" stamped anywhere on the receiver? I've noticed the "SA" marking in your pictures but can't see a "41". Thanks for sharing the images.

I didn't see a '41' either, that being said that was only applied on rifles captured after 1941 (so basically Continuation War rifles and rifles given to the Finns by the Germans).

No "41" stamped on this rifle, probably a Winter War Capture, though Finnishicon Troops didn't turn in captured snipers to the Army very often, preferring to keep them for there own use.
