i just read an article about them and it turns out that reese owns springfield armory. they are $300.00 higher than the last ones they had for sale.

For around that amount of money I would rather have a POF 308 piston rifle. I think I'll buy a few more Garands for that price. I could build most of a good LRB rifle for that much. I think SA is making the receivers for those which mean they are probably cast receivers and not original forged Beretta receivers. If they were made from original Beretta receivers I would consider one.
Besides, the mags are too hard to find for the BM59.

I would be careful with Springfield Armory. They stole parts of my rifle when I sent it to them to be refinished. Type 1 gas lock, and gas cylinder. They changed them for a Korean knock off cylinder and a poppet valve.

They also changed my Op Rod but at least it was just the revision that changed.

I contacted them to and they said that couldn’t happen. Well it did and they never corrected it. They are thieves plain and simple.
