Billy Gene Wright, age 78, of Waxahachie, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 in Ennis, TX. He was born October 4, 1935 in McKinney, Collin County, Texas to the late Mary Margaret Thompson Wright and Joseph Lonzo Wright. Bill graduated from Plano High School in 1954 in a class of about 34. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. In October 1961 he married Arlene Cole and they celebrated 52 years together. He was a wonderful, caring husband and father to his stepson, Wynn Drumm.
