round body follower rod
Very rare part Mark, use started in the fall of 1940 with a single keystone spring, then for awhile with the Wallace- Barnes round wire then back to the keystone. Highest known original rifle with the round body follower rod and keystone spring is s/n 189209. Some collectors think there was a longer keystone spring used too.Attachment 81937Attachment 81938

Odd, no description at all other than unmarked M1
follower rod.
I guess for those who really know what the scoop is on this rod it doesn't matter.

Honestly you don't care if it is SA or WRA when you cannot find one. Either will do until the correct one [if ever] comes along. Rick B
