William Steinen Co. (WW2 supplier) sold to Eaton Pond used for Inland. When subcontractors could not supply enough parts to a prime contractor to fill an order, they bought parts from other subcontractors, stamped their code on it and filled the order out. Not humped. Sometimes that happens and you get an odd piece that should not belong on your rifle but, sharing of parts to keep things going happened.
