I've spent some time lately following the sale prices of receivers and have to admit I'm a bit shocked at some of the prices I'm seeing ...
A recent sale of a Inland Hand stamped 1 serial 6,734,3XX sold March 19 for..........
Ready for this? $906.75
March 17..... Rock Ola 4,6 mil for $499
Feb 12.......... Beautiful WRA 6,5 mil for $670
March 11.... NPM U 4,3 mil for $450
Other makers in Misc shape to include Stan Pro.. $430. SG... $356. Inland 6,2 mil $425 etc.
A over anxious friend who got caught up in a bidding frenzy left a mixer he picked up at an estate sale with me to look over. He is now the new owner of a cracked gas cylinder and stripped piston nut on a Inland barrel.![]()
The carbine came from the late 60's NRA/DCM sale, more than likely straight to a Bubba.
He needs to recoup some of his $$ loss and I said I'd help.
Even though it's a mixer I have to admit it seems a shame to part it out.
It does have a WRA springtube receiver in the 1,126 mil range, that should help get some funds back, but it's gonna hurt.
Be careful all and take a good flash light to sales/shows with you.
