Looks a bit like a Vickers VCL similar to those adopted by the Belgians.

Yes, a version of the VCL. Kind of a cross between the Germanicon Ketts and the Universal or Bren carrier. Here's a site that has one in museum just a bit different. They share the chassis and there's a few body shapes. Armorama :: 1/6 Vickers Carden Loyd Utility Tractor

I'm more surprised that no one has commented on what appears to be a Vickers Berthier (mkII ?) in a caliber other than 303 (judging by the curvature of the magazine).

Carden Lloyd with Berthier LMG (not .303?)

Vickers Berthiers in 7,65 were used by several Latin American Countries (Bolivia, Peruicon, Paraguay) especially during the Gran Chaco War of the early 30s.

Could this "gun tractor" be an offering by Vickers for Bolivia??

    Interesting.

    IN TX,
I found the same picture with it being called:
    Vickers-Carden-Loyd Utility Tractor 1934

From this Web Site: Belgian WWII tanks

It states many of these were made in to the T13 B1, B2 and B3 model light tanks... etc.

    Copied from there:

    Other tracked vehicles
    – VCL Utility Tractors ~ 1000 vehicles. Three unarmed types. The infantry model, with short tracks and well armored, and the cavalry model, faster and with less armor. They were used to deploy the FRC 47 mm (1.85 in) gun.
    – Vickers Carden Loyd model 1934 Artilery Tractors – Unknown number built. Used for the T13 conversions.

I like the simple designs from the 20's and 30's, easy to work on.
I'd love to test drive one, even just hear it run.
Looks like it would be handy in Michigan's Upper Peninsula during deer hunting season.

I believe this is a similar version (of many), they were sold to at least 16 countries.

Finally Someone else Seen it also..I did some searches on what people were posting about being a combination of a Germanicon Ketts or Universal Personal Carrier, but didn't see anything Close to it. I knew somebody would find it. Thanks Painter and all others that help me find out what this was. I just thought it was very interesting and now will read up why this made and it Special Purpose.

Not sure if I've found the correct gun in the picture.
You guys will have to look.
Say's Bolivians had a lot of ZB26 LMG. Other rifles pictured.
Also see what are Vickers variant models to our picture here.
