    "...has a Hi-Power..." That's what Para's were issued. Chances are he was the Officer too.
    The guy with the STEN and the guy with the T look a great deal alike. Wonder if they were related.

    Well...I was issued one for a spell and was far from it. I was gun number two on a MG so my personal weapon was a pistol. They're around.

    So I looked up a Mk V pulled this from the web looks to have the No.4 front sight set up and the pig sticker bayonet.

    Four years on from this photo in 1949, The Parachute Regiment was formed as a standalone Regiment.
    Palestine, another pointless internal war, where we lost a lot of men, along with other Regiments, sticking our noses into other peoples business, for a strip of land, which has cost millions of lives since
