Unit Disk Decoding? Info?

Hey All! Any ideas on how to figure out if this unit disk means anything? Its on a 1911 made LSA Enfield.

Simple acceptance mark. Sometimes they've been so marked up they need reversing.

Not British as defined in Equipment regulations

Looking at it in an Australian context (as mentioned in the other thread)...there was a 41st Infantry Battalion raised during WWI. 41st Battalion has been used in various incarnations since.

If you take a look at an enlarged view of the back of the disc, you can see that the acceptance marking is not just a broad arrow, it is actually a one strike stamp of a broad arrow with an 'I' or similar below it.

Interesting! I don't see any Australian marks that I can see. But who knows. It's all a guess at this point!
