I found a Fazerkaly #4 mk1[f] the other day,all of the early features,#'s match.The only thing that seems goofy[besides me] is an electro penciled date on the receiver 10-48.I found that the #4mk2's started in 1949.did they make #4mk1[f] up until 1949,or was this refurbed in 10 of 48.Icant find any FTR on anything. Serial # is PF 52193. The model and serial info is electro,or what actually looks like a bunch of dots in a row.
So! is this beast ww2 production that was over hauled? ,or post war production?
Any of you enfield gurus up yet?
Just like rose ann rosanadana says[never mind] I just found a post further down the page explaining the situation.
Iwas hopeing for ww2 enfield,but Iguess for $100.00 I'll just have bite the bullet.
