Jap Training Rifle

Good Morning All,

I was at a local gun show this weekend and traded for a Japanese training rifle. (I didn't have one).
Now I need to know from the experts any info I can get.
It is what I believe to be a 6.5, has a smooth bore, firing pin. and dust cover.

If you go back through these very threads using the search engine provided, you'll find discussions here about these very rifles. I find the whole concept fascinating myself...smoothbore...

It would be super nice if people could include full photos of the rifles rather than a couple of close ups. They are nice but hard to put it all into perspective. I have never seen that barrel marking before. Very interesting.
