Hi folks. apologies for another of the same old markings questions. I've done quite a bit of research online re smle markings, but the rifle I'm looking at now is not familiar in terms of barrel marking. It's a 1914 BSA smle, non-matching bolt and magazine, and has this marking on the barrel. I'm wondering if the 'K' style marking is actually two broad arrrows with the points touching. However, having them sat in a triangle, is not something I've seen before. I'm wondering if this is a more recent barrel than the one originally with the 1914 receiver. any thoughts very much appreciated. I'm trying to purchase a Great War smle, as my grandfather fought (and died) with one in 1917 and it weirdly makes me feel closer to him being able to get close to his weapon. Thanks.
